Jungfraujoch, known as the “Top of Europe”, is one of Switzerland’s most spectacular mountain excursions. Travelling from Interlaken Ost, the journey takes you deep into the Jungfrau Region before reaching Europe’s highest railway station at 3,454 metres.

At the summit, breathtaking views stretch across the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps, and towards the surrounding peaks of the Bernese Oberland. From Interlaken, you can travel via either Lauterbrunnen and Wengen or Grindelwald and the Eiger Express, with both routes offering spectacular scenery. For the best experience, consider travelling up one way and returning by the other to enjoy the full Jungfrau circuit.
