Why Pre-Book your Ski Pass and Rental with SwissPasses?

Your ski holiday is booked, your accommodation is sorted and you’re already picturing that first morning on the mountain. But have you organised your lift passes and rental equipment?

‍

It’s easy to leave these until you arrive. Sorting them before you travel, though, can save you time, money and a fair bit of holiday hassle.

‍

Nobody wants to spend their first morning in a ticket-office queue, especially when the snow is calling. These queues can get surprisingly long in busy holiday weeks, and every minute spent waiting is a minute off the slopes.

‍

When you pre-book with SwissPasses, you choose and pay for your pass before you travel and get clear instructions for collecting it. Collection is often from a dedicated pick-up point with much shorter queues. In Zermatt and the 4 Vallées, we can even deliver your pass straight to your accommodation, so you can skip the ticket office altogether.

‍

Anyone who's been on a ski holiday before will tell you that sorting out your rental equipment can be a bit of a faff. So rather than spending your arrival afternoon comparing rental shops and prices, book your equipment in advance with one of our trusted local partners.

‍

Choose the category that suits your ability and budget, know exactly what you’re paying and arrive with everything arranged. You’ll still pop into the shop for fitting and collection, but the decisions will already be made, which is one less thing to think about in resort.

‍

Whether you’re finding your feet on the nursery slopes or heading out for a full week of mountain adventures, we make it easy to get the right rental for your trip. Boots not quite fitting right or fancy trying out a different pair of skis? Not a problem. Our partners are very accommodating and will be happy to help out.

A little planning ahead can leave more in the budget for mountain lunches and après-ski.

‍

Our discounts are typically around 15% on rental equipment and 10% on lift passes. Discounts vary by resort, travel dates and the products you book, and can be as high as 25%, so be sure to check the options for your holiday.

‍

Make the journey easier, too

‍

Why stop at your ski essentials? SwissPasses can also arrange your airport transfers on Switzerland’s excellent rail network, including connecting buses where needed.

‍

Swiss trains are our favourite way to reach the mountains. The views are great, the connections are easy and it’s a lovely way to start your holiday - far better than piling into a delayed and overcrowded coach transfer!

‍

Still planning your trip? Our sister company, OTP Holidays, can arrange your whole Swiss Alps ski holiday, bringing accommodation, travel and ski essentials together in one package. Get in touch here and let us take the stress out of planning your ski trip.
