Day 1: Zurich – Lucerne
Begin your journey in Zurich and travel to Lucerne, with the rest of the day free to discover the historic Old Town and beautiful shores of Lake Lucerne. Your Half-Fare Card gives you a 50% discount on nearby mountain excursions like Rigi, Pilatus, Stoos and Stanserhorn. ‍

Day 2: Lucerne – Lugano
Journey south from Lucerne on the historic Gotthard Panorama Express, travelling through Central Switzerland and across the Alps before descending into Ticino. Arrive in Lugano, where Italian influences, palm trees and the shores of Lake Lugano create a distinctly Mediterranean atmosphere.

Day 3: Lugano – Tirano – St. Moritz
Travel from Lugano towards Tirano on the Bernina Express Bus, before beginning one of the most spectacular sections of the journey.
