Swiss Travel Pass Flex

The Swiss Travel Pass with added flexibility.
The Flex gives you all the benefits of the Swiss Travel Pass, but with the freedom to choose your travel days. Available for 3, 4, 6, 8 or 15 days within one month, it's perfect for travellers who want to explore Switzerland at their own pace and maybe even scratch beneath the surface a bit whilst doing so.
Enjoy unlimited travel on trains, buses and boats throughout the country on your chosen travel days, along with free museum entry and discounts on mountain excursions.
What's included?
- Unlimited travel on trains, buses and boats throughout Switzerland on your chosen travel days
- Free use of local trams and buses on your travel days
- Free travel on the mountain excursions of Rigi, Stanserhorn and Stoos
- Up to 50% discount on most mountain railways and cable cars
- Free entry to over 500 museums on your travel days, including Chillon Castle, the FIFA Museum and the Olympic Museum
- Swiss Family Card included - under 16s travel free when accompanied by a parent
- Pair with the Half Fare Card for 50% discounts, even on days when you're not using your Flex Pass.
Why Choose the Swiss Travel Pass Flex?
Unlike the Swiss Travel Pass, which is designed for consecutive travel days, the Flex allows you to spread your travel days across a month. This makes it a great choice if you're staying longer in Switzerland and want to combine travel days with hiking, sightseeing, skiing or simply relaxing in one place.
The Flex is probably the better option if you:
- Want the flexibility to choose when you travel
- Plan to spend several days in destinations such as Zermatt, Interlaken or Lucerne
- Prefer a slower-paced itinerary with sightseeing and relaxation days
- Want to enjoy scenic train journeys like the Glacier Express and Bernina Express without travelling every day
For maximum flexibility and value, many travellers combine the Swiss Travel Pass Flex with a Half Fare Card. This allows you to enjoy unlimited travel on your chosen Flex Pass days while still receiving 50% discounts on most trains, buses, boats and mountain excursions on the days you're not technically using the pass.
However, if you expect to travel on most days of your trip, the Swiss Travel Pass would offer better value, while those focusing on a specific area of Switzerland may benefit from a regional pass instead.
